"Journal of Mathematical Physics, Analysis, Geometry" was founded in 1994. Formerly "Matematicheskaya Fizika, Analiz, Geometriya" (MAG) (until July 2005). Its founders are the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, B.I.Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering. The frequency of publication is four issues per year.

The journal issues original and review papers on the following subject:

 At the same time, the Editorial Board takes an active interest in papers dealing with a much wider range of problems in contemporary mathematics.
